Following from the previous lesson Yesterday, I was to do more circuits and hopefully have a longer period solo. The headwind was virtually 0knts meaning that, unless we used another Runway, we would have to use every inch of the runway to get us off. My instructor wanted me practicing on Runway 05 so we started from at close to the threshold as possible.

Friday, May 30th, 2008Today I had my first lesson in nearly two months, and needless to say I was expected the usual rigmarol of getting the landings back up to scratch. Even worse, I hadn’t had a Coffee yet!! This was going to be a long flight. (more…)
